The two Foundational Certificates offered by the Theological Institute at Saint John's Seminary (SJS) provide a full experience of the truth of Christ.
Either the Catechetical Certificate or the Catholicism Certificate provide you with the formation you need to enter more deeply into the truth of Christ.
The Catechetical Certificate prepares you to be a better teacher of the faith. The Catholicism Certificate gives you the opportunity to dive deeper into the truths of the faith. Both Basic Certificates meet at the same time, with different small-group experiences. Skills workshops are required for both the Catechetical and Catholicism Certificates.
Classes meet once a month for eight Saturdays, 9am to 4pm.
